Contact and returning goods
Send withdrawal notices and complaints to [email protected], identifying the product and purchase. Contact us for the shipment address and packaging instructions. This does not require prior permission to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal.
Withdrawal within 14 days
To withdraw without giving a reason, notify the seller within 14 days of receiving the goods; for one order delivered separately, the period starts with receipt of the last item. The notice may be sent on the last day. Then send the goods back within a further 14 days of withdrawal. The customer bears the direct return costs if the seller has not agreed to pay them and informed the customer of this obligation in advance.
Refunds
The seller refunds payments received within 14 days of the withdrawal notice, including the cost of the cheapest standard delivery offered to the customer. Refunds use the same payment method unless another is agreed without additional cost. The seller may wait for the goods or proof of dispatch, whichever comes first. For a partial return, delivery charges are assessed in relation to the remaining purchase.
Oil, packaging and diminished value
Inspect goods only as needed to establish their properties. Opening a container does not automatically exclude withdrawal. Handling beyond necessary inspection can justify only a substantiated deduction for diminished value, not a fixed penalty. For example, pouring oil into an engine may substantially reduce its value; the effect is assessed individually. Statutory exceptions, including inseparable mixing after delivery, apply only when their conditions are met. Pack liquids against leakage and follow the carrier's rules.
Product defects
You may claim for a defect that becomes apparent within two years of receipt. If it appears during the first year, it is presumed to have existed at receipt unless incompatible with the nature of the goods or defect. Normal wear and damage from incorrect use are not in themselves defects attributable to the seller. Repair or replacement may be requested first; an impossible or disproportionate remedy may be refused. A proportionate price reduction or withdrawal is available under the statutory conditions; a minor defect alone does not justify withdrawal.
Handling complaints
State the product, purchase date, description of the defect, requested remedy and contact details. The seller issues confirmation of receipt and resolution. A complaint, including remedying the defect and notifying the customer, is handled within 30 days unless a longer period is individually agreed with the consumer. Make the goods available for necessary assessment. If the deadline passes without resolution, a price reduction or withdrawal may be requested. Reasonable necessary costs are reimbursed for a justified complaint. B2B periods and rights are governed separately by the contract and law.

Out-of-court dispute resolution
If a dispute cannot be resolved with the seller, consumers may contact ČOI: coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr/. A proposal is generally submitted no later than one year after first asserting the disputed claim with the seller. ADR helps reach an agreement and does not exclude court proceedings.
