What to check before choosing

Identify the transmission type and the exact fluid standard in the equipment manual. Manual gear oils, automatic transmission fluids, CVT fluids and dual-clutch fluids serve different systems; a shared category page does not make them substitutes.

Check the manufacturer's stated application, viscosity system and specification on the exact product's technical data sheet. Colour, product name or a similar grade cannot establish interchangeability, and mixing or replacement requires the equipment manufacturer's guidance.

Viscosity or an SAE grade alone does not establish suitability. Follow the equipment manufacturer's specifications and check the exact product's current documents before use.
